About
For quite some time I’ve been, let’s say gently nudged to publish some of my writings. I’ve stubbornly resisted the idea of doing so for many years. After all, I’m not a scholar and I’ve learned that I apparently tend to write about topics that can be rather controversial. However, I chose to start publishing this blog as an encouragement to others to study the Word. If someone such as myself with no formal education can learn and teach Biblical Truth, there’s nothing that can stop you from doing the same.
A handful of years ago I was facing the most difficult trials of my life. In fact, things were so catastrophic that I’m still recovering as I write this. The words “therefore rejoice” immediately follow my favorite Bible within my favorite book. Revelation 12:11 says this, “They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.”
We triumph over not just evil, but our own trials and tribulations by the blood of the Lamb. Not only that, but we are also victorious by Christ’s very own reflection within us. We are victorious by our own story of His conquering ways.
In one of his final interviews, Tim Keller said this. “If Jesus really resurrected from the dead, then we have nothing to worry about.” Without the resurrection, nothing within the Bible has any meaning whatsoever. With the resurrection, there is nothing that can’t be overcome. Therefore, we have reason to rejoice.
